Park #574
A 2014 design-firm playground of connected standalone elements — a zip line, adult workout bars and what is likely the longest slide in any Chicago park at 22 feet, set into a hill. Sculpted rubber ground doubles as play. No shade at all.
The one amenity sorely lacking — the play area is bright and sunny with no cover
Soft rubber that is mounded and sculpted in places so the ground itself becomes part of the play area
A 22-foot slide set into a hill, likely the longest playground slide in any Chicago park, plus a zip line and connected standalone elements rather than a single structure
A large slide sized for small children alongside the bigger elements
Adult workout provision with pull-up bars alongside the play area
A small spray feature just south of the playground near the south-east corner
Picnic tables and a drinking fountain
Designed by a landscape firm in 2014 with unique elements not found at other parks

How we know this
Every value above comes from what visitors described on site, read one park at a time. Where accounts disagree we say so rather than picking a side. Where nobody has mentioned something, we leave it blank and ask you.
