Brooks (Oscar) Park
A busy, well-maintained park with tennis, horseshoes, baseball, a water feature, walking trail and a playground that suits more than just little children. Parking is the persistent friction point.
The lot was recently redone but is still described as too small; out-of-neighbourhood visitors take the street spaces
Located on one side of the park only, which visitors note becomes awkward from the far end
A nice walking trail
Picnic areas throughout
The playground is described as not just for little children
Described as very well maintained by the city and worth visiting in any season
Busy regardless of time of day these days
What we could not confirm
Visitors have not described these, so we are not guessing:
- Shade
- Enclosure
- Toddlers
- Ground surface
- Seating
- Accessibility
How we know this
Every value above comes from what visitors described on site, read one park at a time. Where accounts disagree we say so rather than picking a side. Where nobody has mentioned something, we leave it blank and ask you.
